The Process
Being far away is a lesson in persistence and dreaming, a challenge that has led me to learn new cultures and languages. However, it is also a choice that entails sacrificing precious moments: birthdays, births, family hugs, and simple seaside coffees with friends. It‘s as if, among the words written in small letters, there echoes the constant whisper of „take a deep breath, exhale.“
This experimental typography project reflects this complex bond. The letters dance on the paper, evoking the movement of the waves, while the phrase „breathe in, breathe out“ reminds us that the vast ocean mimics the same sound that we make whenever we inhale and exhale.
The sea, the eternal companion of memories, is more than a place; it is a state of mind, a link to my origins. On this journey, I take a deep breath, draw courage, and allow the waves to steer me.
Every sunlight that peeks through in my adopted city serves as a reminder of the distance between me and my homeland.
